Well it should because the marketing experts, who want to grab your attention immediately, develop this type of headline to grab your attention. You see, if they successfully draw you to their website they estimate they have approximately 5-10 seconds to really get your attention and win you over. Hence the big, bold, red letters (not illustrated here) and the “hook” message followed up by the “reason” why you should continue reading with great enthusiasm. I'm sure you've seen these all over.
Now, before I lose your attention :), let me explain the purpose of this blog. I developed this to show you how to create income from the Internet for free and at the same time, expose some of the B.S. out there with Affiliate Marketing programs. I promise two things:
#1 – I will never ask for money or you to purchase anything. In other words, this is not a “hook” to lead you in halfway only to charge you for the other half.
#2 – If you follow the steps presented here you will make money from the Internet. How much money you make will be up to you.
Now, the reason for this is that I’m tired of all the crap work-at-home programs being pushed on people with empty promises of riches beyond their wildest dreams. I know there are some people out there who are struggling and they’re handing over their last $50 to these so-called “experts”. So many of the get rich quick programs you see are the same exact programs someone offered years ago. Another person or company has bought the rights to recycle them over and over again. They just dress them up differently and change the websites around to attract different visitors and increase sales and profits. Some of these sites even disguise themselves as so-called “scam reports”. They trick people to their site to read about how “ABC” company is a scam, or sucks! But, you should purchase the “XYZ” program because they have bought and reviewed over 100 programs and “XYZ” is one of only 3 programs that are not scams. Do you know why “XYZ” made their top 3? Because “XYZ” is paying the largest commission, followed by the other two programs paying the second and third largest. Just look around at some of the ads posted here and you'll see what I mean.
How about the "free website" offers, it’s not the deal you think it is. Websites are easy to create for free these days. The expense lies with the annual $8.95 registration fee and $10 per month hosting fees. These guys are not giving you anything for free; they are insuring a monthly income for themselves from you. Now some of these are legit, but unless you have aligned with the right program for your needs, a free website doesn’t offer you any value what so ever.
There are some really good programs out there for people who want to make money from the Internet, but it’s like finding a needle in a stack of needles. The following are some of the methods I have learned by using legitimate programs I have purchased. The lesson here will show you how to make money with Google Adsense and your only investment will be your time.
In case you are curious about the programs I have found success with, they are Rosalind Gardner’s Super Affiliate Handbook and Nick Marks Forex Enterprise. Rosalind has been a successful Affiliate Marketer for more than 9 years and her lessons are very easy to understand. Nick Marks has developed many successful methods to generate multiple streams of income. His site is kind of flashy, but the content is genuine. Marks recently received the Affiliate of The Year Award for 2007. If you take a look at their sites, remember to come back.
All right, we are here to learn how to make money from the Internet. I have chosen Google Adsense because I believe it to be the easiest stream of income you can generate for free. If you look around this blog you will see examples of click ads I generated using Google Adsense. There are link ads at the top, to the right, and at the bottom. I have also included a video link ad and a search box example.
What you need to do first is go to Google and sign up for your free Google Adsense account. At the top of the right column I have listed a total of 5 links. If you wish, you can go to all 5 now and sign up or follow along and join when it becomes time to do so. These are all free to join and will be needed to complete this lesson.
